Updated my iPhone 6 to 8.3 the other day and also updated my late 2012 MBP (running Yosemite) to replace iPhoto with the new photos app.
Before these updates, all of my photos would sync to iPhoto when i connected the phone to our wifi and opened iPhoto. Since the update, it just will not work any more. Does anyone ha

I see that you are using the new Photos app on your computer running Yosemite and have some questions about syncing photos. It sounds like iPhoto was previously syncing to your Photo Stream in iCloud and that was pulling in your photos when you opened iPhoto from a Wi-Fi connection. You can have the same functionality in the new Photos app, you just may need to turn on My Photo Stream:
