i recently dropped my phone and it fell flat on its screen. the top right hand of the screen popped out and when i pressed the home button, there were white lines going vertically on the screen. My touch screen also wont work at all. I tried popping it back in but more white lines just started showing up on the screen. what should i do?

If you have Apple Care +, pay the deductible and get a replacement.
If you don't have Apple Care plus, pay the out of warranty service fee & get a replacement.
Accidental damage is not covered by the warranty.
Stop trying to fix it yourself. I've learned that it only makes the issue worse. Instead, schedule an appointment at the Genius bar.
The same happened to me and its incredible how you need to pay almost 300 dollars to get a replacement when no other phone have the same issue were the screen popped out! Apple there's no way your products have this fabric damage! So dissapointed i just got this phone and the display wont show anything at all
You mean no other smartphones have an issue where if you drop the phone the screen comes out? Really?
If all that needs to be done is to replace the screen the cost is $109/$129 USD depending on the model of the iPhone.
If there is more damage Apple does not repair the phone they replace the entire phone. The good news is if you only had this phone for a month and they do this then you get back your one year warranty. Or if you had purchased AppleCare+ it would have cost you $79 USD for your deductible.
