Q: Iphone 5

I have had an Iphone 5 for the last 6 months no problem, suddenly I can not hear the caller and they can not hear me, I have recorded some thing on the voice recorder and the mic/earpiece work fine, does anyone know what the issue could be? it is not in warranty.

Have you tried restarting/resetting the phone? Restart or reset your iPhone, iPad, or iPod touch - Apple Support

If you can't hear a person on a call or voicemail or if the sound quality is poor on iPhone - Apple Support
