Q: problem hearing aid

Dear Madam / Sir

I have an iPhone 4s with 64GB and iOS 8,3. Recently I upgraded it on iOS 8,3 and a few minutes later it fell from my commode.

Although it has a cover case, the hearing aid doesn't work normally after this incident.

In all the calls I hear a noise like squeak either while awaiting reply from my interlocutor or during the conversation established.

Is this a hardware or a software problem? Can I tackle with this by my own?

Thank you,

Sincerely yours.

iPhone 4S, iOS 8.3

If you are the phone fell and hit the ground it is most likely a hardware problem. Before getting it serviced you can try Settings > General > Reset > Reset Network Settings and set up the hearing aids again. If that does not work try restoring your iPhone from your backup in iTunes.

    Dear Deggie

First of all thank you for your answer.

I tried both of your proposals but nothing went better.

I got the iPhone to the service shop where the hearing aid was replaced.

Unfortunately the problem concerning bad noice during all the calls, remains.

After all, I suspect that the deteriorating factor was the upgrade to 8.3
