Q: Safari will not download

Trying to reload Safari as it has disappeared from my MacBook Pro 17 " Yosemite 10.10.3.

Apple says

HT204416: Get the latest version of Safari for your Mac

but it will not download it.

   Backup your computer.

    Reinstall OS X Yosemite.

Safari is a part of OS X and to get a copy or a newer version you have to reinstall OS X.

Still doesn't explain Apples misleading web site. I certainly don't want to re-install OSX, guess I'll continue using Opera

Absolutly NOT going to reinstall due to incorrect web page by Apple, afraid I will lose my Aperture program which was the original reason for using Apple. It no longer appears in the Appstore even though other parts of Site is still promoting it!
