Q: Regarding 'dictation' or speech to text - what's the earliest model (used) mac that has this facility?

I want to buy a used Mac for the sole purpose of the dictation tool as it is brilliant on my Iphone 4s. But only being able to afford a used Mac, what's the earliest model I can buy that has dictation on it? Thanks

Please help us by telling us if you are looking for a desktop model or a notebook computer. The old PowerBooks this forum covers cannot handle speech-to-text without third-party software.
