Apr 15, 2015 2:34 PM in response to ENIGMACODEby Ian R. Brown,That meter looks rather like the one from Audacity.

It's probably just a screen recording of the meter.

Apr 15, 2015 4:11 PM in response to Ian R. Brownby ENIGMACODE,Hello Ian Brown - nice to see you again!
Yes, that LED style meter is a 'CROP' from Audacity thru a 'Screen Capture'. I created it myself from Audacity on my PC because within Windows 7 I have more choices than working within a 10.4 environment and FC6.
But I was actually looking for a 'Plug In' for FC - I'm not sure there's anything else out there - do you?
Mike

Click the top right icon to download the free ones.
There are supposed to be some VU meters but I don't know whether they are for FCP X, FCP 7 or both.

Do you have anything from your 'Oldies Collection' that would work in FC6?

Apr 16, 2015 9:28 AM in response to ENIGMACODEby Ian R. Brown,★HelpfulI just tried emailing you but your old "G5Ap..." address didn't work . . . I assume it's obsolete like legacy FCP.
Any chance of emailing me so I can update your address?

Apr 16, 2015 9:48 AM in response to Ian R. Brownby ENIGMACODE,Hi again Ian
I found something called 'Debut Video Capture Software' which can be used in FC6 and 10.4 With 'screen capture', I could at least capture an Apple Application, like 'Sound Track Pro', which is more professional looking than Audacity.
However, the trial version runs very slow which leads me to believe its the fault of using a 'non-intell' machine.
Here's my web page:

My email address appears at the very bottom of every page. And yes, I'd love to hear from you again!
Thanks Ian!
