SSD drive

Hi there

Just need a little advise please.

My 2008 Mac Pro is running little slow lately.

I`ve upgraded to 6GB of RAM, Just updated to Yosemite and Abobe Creative Cloud.

Just the whole systems seems a little laggy and slow.

I was thinking about upgrading to a SSD for for my OSX and CC keeping it clean.

You think this is a good option, also is it safe to use any sort of SSD and is there any you would recommend.

Much aprreciated

Mac Pro, OS X Yosemite (10.10.3)

SATA III ? then the Velocity Solo or Duo to mount the SSD in a PCIe slot.

You could mount two SSD on the Duo, one for the system, another for scratch.

(And DO get 24-32GB if you want to handle graphics smoothly and they are large or have a lot of layers and such. FBDIMMs like 667MHz are available and better price and run cooler)

Want speed? Go for a blade adapter and 500-1000GB units. Faster than two SSDs using SATA III.
