Apr 15, 2015 10:23 AM in response to jonesg99by SolutionArts,It all depends on what you're using device wise, and what contact applications you are using.
For instance: MacBook, iPad, iPhone are devices, applications wether real or web based could be Contacts, iCloud, Gmail, Yahoo etc.
So a little bit of a hint on what it is you're using would be helpful in helping you find a solution.

Apr 15, 2015 10:51 AM in response to SolutionArtsby jonesg99,Thanks,
I have a Macbook Pro, an ipod and an ipad. My work contacts created in Outlook (Windows) appear on all devices. All other contacts are created in the Contacts applications native to each device, supplied by Apple. While there may be losses in other directions, I know for sure that contacts created on the ipad are not appearing on the ipod.
