Apr 27, 2015 10:42 AM in response to MrCamaleoby Brian_SD,Just had something else happen. The Mac Mini was asleep since yesterday evening, and it's currently almost 11am. When I tapped the keyboard to wake it, it came up without asking for a password, which NEVER happens. I checked my security settings and it says it needs a password immediately when waking from sleep.

Apr 28, 2015 12:22 PM in response to [GeorgeT]by Brian_SD,Late 2012 Mac Mini w/ Intel HD Graphics 4000
Also, someone else mentioned it only happened when Google Chrome was opened. I had the graphics bars appear 3 times over the last 2 days and all three times I only had Safari running.

May 1, 2015 10:53 AM in response to MrCamaleoby JHenrySlentz,Add me too..I think it's safe to say now that everyone is experiencing this. I have 6 more Mac Mini's in my office that are all experiencing this after the update.
ALSO to note on the Cold Restarts..I have them on my machine but believe its related to the new PHOTOS app and converting my old iPhoto Library (200gb).
People with the Cold Restarts: Is your iPhoto Library being upgraded when your Mini gets kicked in the d*ck?

May 3, 2015 2:31 AM in response to Brian_SDby MrCamaleo,This morning a couple of panic restarts for me as well
I read somewhere that the new Photos app can crash the system when trying to import lot of images. I was not importing anything but both crashes happened right when I was closing Photos.
Anyways, I have now the doubt that flickering might be related to the GPU temperature getting too high. So I've just installed Macs Fan Control – a free app that let you control the fan pending on various temperatures.
Its a free app you can get here:
http://www.macupdate.com/app/mac/47386/macs-fan-control
http://www.crystalidea.com/macs-fan-control
I set the app to raise the fan RPM when the GPU goes above 70ºC (150ºF) – will report in few days if this fixed the flickering issue...

May 3, 2015 2:33 AM in response to MacGallantby MrCamaleo,In the last two days I've only used my MacBook Air (Intel 5000) and faced no flickering at all – so I guess the problem must be related to the video card.
Now back on the Mac Mini trying to control the GPU temperature...
