Free up Disk Storage

Hi

I have a MacBook Air 128GB mid 2012.

I'm trying to free up space as I've only 8GB of storage left. I was very surprised about this when I checked the space left as I didn't think I have much stored on the macbook.

Going into the Storage Info I there appears to be 7.22 GB of photos and 6.29GB of videos on the hard disk. However when I check finder there appears to be only 1.37 GB of photos and 514 MB of memory taken.

Can you please advise what the problem is and why this additional amount of memory appears to be taken.

Any help greatly appreciated!!

Select Macintosh HD and click “Sweep Selected Drive” at the bottom.

Be careful. Delete only the files that can be safely deleted. If you are not sure about any file, don’t touch it.
