Since downloading iOS 8.3 when listening to spotify through my car audio system (blue tooth) i can no longer skip tracks. The songs still play, but the controls on the steering wheel do not work. It also now does not show the name of the song/artist on the screen on the dashboard.
I have synced my phone back up to my car again. I have also reset my phone but nothing has worked. anyone else having this problem or how I can fix it?
If you have cleared off previous pairings and gone to Settings > General > Reset > Reset Network Settings and re-paired and it still didn't work it is time to contact your car dealer and see if there is a firmware update for your system.
How about its time for Apple to fix backwards compatibility. Does anyone really think car dealerships are firmware updating cars that are 4-5 years old because Apple breaks functionality with firmware updates? It's insane that I keep reading all over these forums that if Apple breaks something its not their problem.
