iPhone 4s has issues with messages after update to 8.3

Hi, after the update to 8.3 I am unable to delete messages - both entire or selected. Any messages afterwords are not going through, which prompts me to restart the phone. Once done so all previously deleted messages r back where they were prior to deleting.

Anyone has this problem? Solutions?

so far if i delete and reset my phone often enough - roughly 5-8 times some of the ones i try to delete r gone.

any solutions?? i have few months left on the contract and will b upgrading the phone then, but in the meantime it would make my life easier if there was a way of fixing this issue
