So I need to clear up a lot of memory. My others has ~50 gb while my movies has 13 gb. I have no idea where these movies are as im sure i have not downloaded any and for the others, I've deleted my download files so where is this 50 gb going?
Also, what will happen if i move my itunes media (like apps and music) as well has iphoto to an external and then delete it. Will it affect my photos and music+apps or is that ok to clear up room?

Moving the libraries to an external drive is OK; the volume used to store the iPhoto library needs to be formatted as Mac OS Extended. After moving a library, launch the application with the Option key held down and choose it.

After I've formatted it, can i delete it/clear it from my mac?
First follow Niel’s instruction: After moving a library, launch the application with the Option key held down and choose it. That is, choose the library that’s on the external hard drive. Once you’ve done that you can delete it from your computer’s hard drive.
