PhotoStream won't let go...

i Edit photos on iPad mini immediately after taking them on my LUMIX wifi camera. Great. But some photos deleted still make it thru to Mac Book Pro on PhotoStream. So I have to select again the ones to keep/ delete. Frustrating

MacBook Pro, OS X Yosemite (10.10.3), MBPR13inch; mid 2010;4 RAM; 250SSD;10.10.3

I found Léonies reply to a similar thread after the deafening silence... sorry for repeating the same Q. I am starting another Q: do we feel there should be an easier way e.g. bulk - of to deleting from photo stream after saving photos to events in iPhotos/equivalent in Photos?
