I had the same problem. Did you update the phone over wifi or through iTunes? I did mine over wifi, Apple told me to connect my phone to my laptop, do a backup, reset to factory settings then do a restore, now my battery is back to normal.
Hope this helps.
restored as new same problem fix a few issues but not the battery drain
Nope. Did the update thru iTunes and a Mac, battery performance is the same since I got it with 8.1, up to 4 days with moderate use, 1-2 under more intense conditions. Have Location Services, Wi-Fi, 4G and Bluetooth always on. No Facebook, no background app refresh and no push mail updates, though.
How do you charge your phone pleas cause i don't know how to charge it completly it drain 1% every 5 or 6 minutes ; is it good ? or i can make it better ?
My iPad has the same battery drain issues immediately after allowing the iOS 8.3 update.last week. I am extremely frustrated. Prior to the update, my battery would last for multiple days while playing music most of the day. Now it doesn't even last 1 day. I have looked up the articles that tell me to 'turn off this' and 'turn off that', change settings, etc..... which I have done, it only improved my battery longevity slightly. This is unacceptable, Apple should be testing these updates prior to release specifically for battery drain (since it seems this is a recurring issue with their most recent updates) and NOT releasing it until the drain issues are resolved. Not pleased at all with Apple right now.
If a restore was done with a computer/itunes and the device was set up as New and still having an issue, contact AppleCare phone support or if have an Apple Retail Store nearby make an appointment.

Reason why, if set up as new and still having the issue no other troubleshooting steps are to be taken at that time after.
Here you can find some useful tips on how to make the battery life of your device longer. They work for both iOS 8.2 and iOS 8.3.
no news.. Good news ?
I have the same issue with the 5c, now it always gives the "accessory not supported error" and this is the original cable that came with the device. So it connects to a pc and syncs with itunes, but does not charge unless switched off. To add to this, battery drains super fast, does not last up to 3 hrs when charged full( and no apps are even on the device as we speak)
Backup, reset to factory settings and restore worked perfectly for me too...
It's just disappointing that Apple releases an IOS version with such a problem: I bought an iPhone 6 plus to avoid these situations, but my opinion is that they're loosing reliability and customers....
I have the same issue. Battery on my iPhone 4s running on iOS 8.3 is terrible. It consumes 1% every two or three minute on usage and the same every hour in standby. I don't remember the existence of this issue before iOS 8.3. I purchased an App called ActMonitor (https://itunes.apple.com/en/app/actmonitor/id519572740?mt=8) and it shows the processes that has been runnning ever since the last reboot and there's this iCloud KeyChain that is close to iPhone reboot time and it's been running ever since, even though I have it turned OFF since a very long time.
Hey Mistrani.
Should I restore as "a new phone" after making a factory reset? Because I wouldn't do that as I fear the loss of Game Center scores!
a simple factory reset worked for me. And I didn't loose any score in Game Center ;-)
hope it works for you too.
My Wife's phone is having the same exact problem. I tried the factory reset as suggested, but it did seem to make any difference. Off to the Apple Store I guess... :>(
