I am trying to scan from my HP Office Jet Pro 8620. It doesnt seem to recognize the multifunctionality of the printer

I have a Macbook pro retina with OSX Yosemite 10.10.

I tried to link my printer HP Officejet Pro 8620 and it seems to print fine but does not pick up the scanning function.

Where can I download a driver for it.

MacBook Pro (Retina, 13-inch, Mid 2014), OS X Yosemite (10.10.2)

If your printer is connected to your Macbook Pro via usb cable, then OS should download drivers automatically. Open App Store and check for available downloads. Check if Image Capture app is able to recognised your device and you can scan documents.

If your printer is using Wireless comunication, then you might have to download drivers from your printer manufacturer website.
