I set up yesterday the new Yosemite on my MacBook and my Mac got slower.. I want to return to my previous operating system, is it possible? If not, how can I speed up my Mac?

Three options:
- Run this and post the results here. That will tell us about yur system so likely we can help
- Backup your data and the do a format and do a fresh install of Yosemite. Then reinstall your apps and restore your data
- Backup your data and the do a format and do a fresh install of Mavericks. Then reinstall your apps and restore your data
BTW, this is the Mac Pro desktop forum
Thanks for the reply. My previous version was Mountain Lion so 10.8.3 and I want that one again. Could this work for this too or do I get the Mac with Mavericks?
A clean install almost always for 80%+ of users is better.
Clone a system first. Safety net and use that instead of only TimeMachine.
Use Setup Assistant
Keep those OS X Installer packages for later and for a clean install and so you can format a drive completely
Adding RAN and new SSD can help too
Since you did not previously install Mavericks it is no longer available to download.
You can go back to ML or try to see what is wrong with your current installation or backup and format and do a fresh install of Yosemite

More memory would help. 4 GB is not enough. If you can't max out with 16 GB (2x8 GB) I would replace one 2 GB with one 8 GB stick

You also have a lot of third-part stuff install and a lot of those did not load (failed). I would backup data and do a fresh install of Yosemite. Then install the apps and extensions that you need and then restore data.
The problem with Yosemite is that my battery doesn't last like before... I was really pleased with my Mac about its battery but now it has been such a problem for me which I never wanted
