Anyone have experience with a stripy screen? Found some earlier links talking about broken graphic's hardware, but they are all several years old.
My IMac i 3 months and 3 days old.

Two questions for you:
1. Do you have AppleCare?
2. Can you post a screenshot of your display. (Shift - Command - 4)
Don't have apple care- but I can buy it if you recommend that. The Mac is also crashing and then whole screen turns stripy and blue.
You should buy AppleCare, it extends the warranty to 3 years and provides 3 years of telephone support. If you get it, I believe it's $167 from Apple however you can get it from B&H Photo (very reputable) for $125
I have the same issue, out of the blue the screen of my iMac flips to black with thin blue lines (or just a black screen). The OS seems to keep working.
