Kannada fonts for mac

Mac OS with KannadaMN and Kannada Sangam MN fonts and and iOS comes with Kannada Sangam MN fonts. They are both preinstalled in the OS.

Install kannada sans noto unhinted font from google.

You can make it system wide default font. it is tricky. If are interested let me know.

Install macuim, then you can choose any keyboard layout you are familiar with.

With these changes, you will circumvent the issues in Mac for reading and writing in Kannada.

They should work if they are Unicode.

But MS Word for Mac normally does not support Unicode Indic scripts -- almost any other app should be OK.
