lightning cable charging problem

Hi,

I have 3rd party lightning cable. At start this cable was working fine connecting my iphone6 with laptop and charging. After 2 to 3 hours, it just stopped doing that. I changed the ports, restarted laptop and iPhone but charging didn't start, neither it says that cable is not recognizable.

I inserted this cable in 5 watt iPhone charger and it works fine.

Need to know what the **** happened suddenly to this charging cable? I have tried to use it on different laptops but same result. It just doesn't get detected but works fine with 5 watt charger on AC socket.
