Is your iPad constantly asking for your Apple ID password? Is it asking you to sign into the iTunes Store or iCloud?

Apr 16, 2015 1:41 PM in response to MamaTraceyby MamaTracey, thank you for asking me to clarify that, zmclearan. I would like if you could explain to me why you think it might be doing that.
I just backed it up last night ; it had started asking me to do that over and over and I thought if I backed it up and upgraded to latest version it would stop it.
I don't even know how I managed to get through the processes of those 2 things. I can't open or use anything on the ipad as it just wants me to "sign in to the icloud"
as it is not something I am used to doing, refresh my memory.......it would be the same password, right? for the icloud and/or the itunes store....?

Apr 16, 2015 2:06 PM in response to MamaTraceyby zmclearan,★HelpfulMy thought is that the iPad may be in a weird glitch where it thinks it is not signed into iCloud when in fact it is which is why it keeps prompting you to sign in. It had happen to me a few months ago. This would be your email and password that you would use to sign into iCloud and the App Store (your Apple ID).

Apr 16, 2015 2:24 PM in response to zmclearanby MamaTracey,I could not do that because as I stated ( I think I did )...the ipad would not allow me to do ANYTHING ; it wanted that password first but when I put it in, it just stayed asking for password. In other words it won't go to settings or any other page.
so here I sit with my PC, and now I have changed my password to see if that will somehow help. I cannot test it on the ipad until I get to where I can access wifi.
I hate Apple ! I really just do. I will try to let you know tomorrow and I do appreciate your help.

Apr 16, 2015 4:44 PM in response to MamaTraceyby zmclearan,If you are unable to dismiss that iCloud pop up window long enough to sign out of iCloud then I would suggest restoring the device. If you do not have a backup, you can create one in iTunes by following this guide:
https://support.apple.com/en-us/HT204136
If Find my iPad is enabled then you will need to put the device in recover mode:
https://support.apple.com/en-us/HT201263
and then if you need assistance restoring the device then follow this guide:
