Q: Apple Wireless Keyboard does not turn on

Q: Apple Wireless Keyboard does not turn on

My Apple Wireless Keyboard appears to have failed. Installed new batteries, checked for signs of battery leakage (none seen). Pushing the On/Off button shows the green LED On for about 5 seconds, then it goes off. No blinking.

Check the Bluetooth application on my iMac. No indication of the keyboard being recognized.

This keyboard is less than 2-1/2 years old. Any suggestions, or is it junk?

Hi Jason,
Thanks for your reply. Turns out, I did a search yesterday and I think the first link I tried was this website. It worked just fine! All is well with the wireless keyboard, and using it to enter text into Apple TV.
If it ever happens again, I'll know how to fix it!
