how long does it take for a macbook to turn on?

How long does your macbook air take to turn on right after pressing the power button? Im not sure if im being paranoid but I think mine takes longer than usual. Mine takes about 20 seconds for the apple logo to show up. Is this normal? Reason why im asking is because a mysterious app called reset search showed up on my launch pad. im not sure what it is and if its destroying my macbook. I ended up deleting that app tho.
