My iphone 6's emoji can't be clicked by touching

My iphone 6's version is IOS 8.3. I only have English keyboard and emoji keyboard. However, when I change my keyboard from English to emoji, there is no reponse no matter which emoji I hit on my screen. I tried to delete the emoji keyboard and then installed it back, but the problem is still there. I also tried to restart my iphone, but it doesn't work either. Please help me to find out the reason why I cannot use my emoji although I see on the keyboard.

Hey there GZ Ivan,

It sounds like you are able to bring up the Emoji keyboard but no matter which one you tap it doesnt appear in the text box. I would start by quitting the Settings app on your phone:

iOS: Force an app to close

Double-click the Home button.

Swipe left or right until you have located the app you wish to close.

Swipe the app up to close it.

When you have done that restart the device and test the issue again:

iOS: Turning off and on (restarting) and resetting
