App from App Store paused and won't resume

I just downloaded something from the App Store and I turned off my computer. When I got back and turned my computer back on, now the apps show "paused" and the icon is grayed out. Also when I go to the App Store, it says "waiting..." and the button says "pause" and is greyed out. Even the actual page for purchasing the app has a greyed out "install" button. I already paid for two apps and now they are stuck in pause. what do I do?


I am running OS X 10.10.3 on my macbook pro retina.
