Apple Watch Shipping Notices

The email confirmation that I have received for my 2 watches is dated April 12, 1:33 EDT even if I have placed my order on April 10, 3:10 EDT.

The title is " Your order is being processed".

My Pink Sport was just delivered! AH! I can't get a picture to you all until 3 or so! Stay tuned!

I Had 1205am confirmation for 42mm space gray with black sports band. Status just changed to perparing for shipment. Stills says deliver between May 13-27.

Congrats, can't wait to see pics!! The 38mm Green Sport I ordered on Monday morning is out for delivery, and I should have it in the next few hours. I can't wait. 🙂

I ordered the space black Sport 42 mm model as soon as I could on preorder launch night, ~12:15 PDT. The site took a long time to load for me for each click.

Result: Shipping date estimate is May 29-June 11.

Apparently I may have ordered the most popular SKU for the Apple Watch. Can't wait to finally have it!

It's sounding to me at this point that the biggest backlog is on 38mm SG Sport w/ Black Band. I ordered at 12:13am, confirmation at 12:16am on 4/10, and was given a 4-6 week shipping window w/ 5/13-5/27 delivery date. I've seen zero movement on it since, my account hasn't been charged, etc.

I'm inclined to think, overall, that Apple has kinda botched this release, with releasing stock to third-party stores (at least one store per launch country) while the preorders are left waiting for theirs to be shipped.

They might have been able to avoid bad customer sentiment if they hadn't touted the 4/24 "availability' date so much before finally backing off on that once they realized they wouldn't be able to meet it.

I still maintain that there shouldn't be any in-store stock anywhere until all the online preorders have been met, since that was the purchase method Apple told us to use.

Jerry: I don't think you do. You see, you know how to *take* the pre-order, you just don't know how to *honor* the pre-order. And that's really the most important part of the pre-order: the honoring. Anybody can just take them.

I ordered using gift cards on 4/10 at 12:04 but have a later delivery estimate than most who ordered early...wonder if they are treating gift cards differently?

If I hit refresh on my order status page will it come faster? lol

Ordered my 42mm SG BSB at 3:05am EST on 4/10. I'm still at "processing items" .

I ordered my watch on April 10th and received a conformation from Apple at 12:04am and given a delivery date of 4/24 - 5/8. I ordered the Apple Watch 42mm Stainless Steel Case with Black Sport Band. This morning, at 3:16am, my Apple charged my credit card for $692.91. My status has moved to "preparing for shipment," but as of 11:20am, I have no shipping information. It looks as though I just may get it on Friday. Fingers are crossed!
