Apple Watch Shipping Notices

Just curious if anyone has received a shipping notice yet for their Apple Watch If they were lucky enough to get an early delivery date (24th). I know if is probably a bit early but worth asking.

thanks

No movement on "Processing"/"Preparing" as on 7:50 am on the 21st. And no charge to my credit card.

I placed my order at 2:02 am, Central time. I ordered a 38mm with pink (I like to think of it as a more manly Nantucket Red) sports band. If you take the statistics that Slice posted http://cdn.cultofmac.com/wp-content/uploads/2015/04/Apple-Watch-preorders.jpg seriously, fewer than 1% of those ordering ordered the same item. If I don't get my watch on Friday, I can't imagine why anyone else would, either.

No update on this end. Asked the fiance who has done Apple pre-orders before and he has said since we are in NYC it is possible I won't even seen anything until Thursday but still get it Friday. Apple reps said something similar. Some of us may not see movement until Thursday but stuff is in fact in motion and we will probably get it on time. I'll get worried if I don't have something by tomorrow night since 2 day shipping is a pretty standard thing.

I suspect that's pretty accurate. I got my iPhone 6 delivered and, if I remember correctly, I got the shipping notice on Wednesday (I'm in Chicago).

I think some of the confusion comes from the shipping dates, themselves. When I ordered my iPhone, the shipping date was a firm date--release day--not a sort of open ended April 24-May 8. That's where the concern is coming from, I believe.

To add to the confusion, some watches that are showing updates are for shipping far in the future. Confusing, to people who were in the first wave of purchasers (2:02am CST) and received the earliest fulfillment dates.

I can see why Apple didn't want to do the typical in-store first-day sales, with so many SKUs, but this has been pretty confusing.

swandy, I suspect the Apple rep is right regarding the popularity of the black sport band. I ordered one as a separate accessory to my SS w/ classic leather. The expected delivery on the extra sport band is days later than the delivery date range for the watch and for the extra charging cable I ordered. I tried them all on in the store. If I had it to do over again, I might have ordered only the sport band and the dark aluminum case. Very light and very comfortable.

Does anyone know why the Apple Store App requires me to type my Apple ID password every single time I launch the app to check the status of my order? My Amex App accepts Touch ID every time, but the Apple Store always makes me type out the password except when I'm actually buying something. Odd.
