Just curious if anyone has received a shipping notice yet for their Apple Watch If they were lucky enough to get an early delivery date (24th). I know if is probably a bit early but worth asking.

I did, the sport model at 12:03AM. No charge and no update here. Also have a friend who ordered the same model and time with no change either. Fingers crossed for release day!
I Think that it is an automatic charge on asset allocation opposed to the difficulty of the charge. I was concerned about that too when I noticed my Amex was "pre-charged" on apr 10 when I bought it at 2:03am CST, but then noticed the billing address for the card they had was my work not my home address i called the next day to correct and things should be fine. All that said, we may be the only two with odd payment things of the hundreds here waiting for confirmations... i really cant imagine that is it.
Also, for you they already have their money from the gift card... The AppleCare they can treat separately... You should be one of the easiest. Good luck and stay confident.
Is there a possibility that they are preparing the watches by a style/color order? I haven't seen any Pink Sports band orders preparing for shipment yet, and that is what I ordered.
TThe why I'm seeing it the rest of the watches are shopping today they did a half and half the way a see it. So the rest should be charged today
Not yet, I am waiting too. I believe that it is happening in waves based on the model and color of the watch. We should be seeing something today.

got the shipping notice for the extra watch charger I ordered - with a UPS tracking number - watch is still in the Preparing for Shipment state
Same here. Charger (ordered a day or two after the Watch itself) has shipped, with scheduled arrival Thursday. Watch is still preparing for shipment.
Last night I got a notice from UPS that it would be delivered today, but it still hasn't been received by them so it is a mistake. On Apple it still shows "Preparing for Shipping". So maybe Friday after all.
im hoping the watch status will change soon - i ordered it around 5 mins after pre-ordering opened
mine hasn't changed since i first got in at 8:03am 10/04 :-{ relly upsetting this ll i want is my space grey ali to say its been shipped or going to be shipped, im in uk n nothing. this isnt on im starting to cry, i wish they would just say they haven't got the space grey yet n they not shipping till next year or somet instead of me sat by my iPad iphone iMac checking it every 30seconds since i placed the order...... im going mad.
