Apple Watch Shipping Notices

What model/strap did you buy and was it 38MM or 42MM?

Things like that make a difference..

i know what u mean but i really don't think apple would do that. i believe all preorders will be filled and then the rest. but u have to understand ordering now when its so close to june that the stores might get them b4 u.

Oh no I ordered mine over a month ago. I totally understand if someone who orders now gets it after the stores.

Not much apple can do about it.

Think from a business perspective. there is always going to be more people ordering everyday online. what are you going to do trying and wait until people stop ordering online before you bring them into the store?

Or do you mean the people that ordered them in the window of 10-24 Apr should get them and then the stores should start selling them?

The supply chain is so substantial working under constraints like that makes no sense. ... the ones on their way to the stores have to be transited and distributed between stores and such for all we know the watches that are being delivered today started in the shipping from china a week and a half ago. telling stores to hold on to them until a certain date would be stupid...

better to just get them out there and people will figure out for themselves what they want to do.

Honestly... would you be THAT upset if you went into an apple store on the first day of store availability and found the watch you ordered online sitting there? would you not buy it then and cancel the online one?

you are right and you have that option. people are ordering everyday. they can't not put them in stores because people decide to order theres weeks before they go in stores. they said at preorder time that they were trying to get them in store by june. so with them filling preorders from 4/10 I'm sure they were getting there store supplies up as well. so if anyone waited until mid may or now to order must understand that store might have them before they do. its just business

Also, just because they send them to the store doesnt mean you'd get the watch you wanted.. This is why Apple did the online only.. To avoid people buying a watch in store that they didn't actually want, and then returning it later.

By ordering online, you know you'll get the watch you want.. eventually.

Sure they can do something they can let people know before ordering online that watch will be in stores before they receive theirs. By releasing the day they will hit stores. And putting in the same area where they show estimated arrival date. Then the customer can decide.

You well get it soon. Mine started out as June. Then updated to the end of June. And then mine shipped yesterday. So i am 4+ weeks ahead of schedule. They are shipping quick.

my SG 42 is sitting at 25-2 jul

oordered the space grey 42mm on 25 th April got June 29 to 9 July first then to day 26 June to 2nd July UK

Ordered 42mm SS BSB on the 18th April. Sitting on 22nd-29th June delivery. Begging for 3-4 days early. Met someone with 42mm SS MLB yesterday. It was simply unreal looking.. Can't wait.
