Update: That awesome 42mm SS Watch that arrived yesterday has a problem with the Maps application. The Watch only shows grid lines. It doesn't display map graphic data. The brand new watch is also unable to attach a credit card to the Apple Pay function.
After spending 45 minutes on the phone with Apple Support, and restoring the Watch from a back up two times, it still isn't working. I now have a Genius Bar (genius - right) appointment tomorrow at my local store to try and fix the problem. What a complete let down. 24 hours after I received it (waited six weeks), I have to go to the store and have them try and fix it. I'm a big Apple fan, but this is extremely disappointing. I feel like I'm part of a beta test program and nobody told me.
