Just curious if anyone has received a shipping notice yet for their Apple Watch If they were lucky enough to get an early delivery date (24th). I know if is probably a bit early but worth asking.

thanks

I got my order on on 4/10 at 12:03 PST - at least that is the time on the email from Apple acknowledging the pre-order. And no, as of this evening my status has not changed from Processing Your Order to Preparing for Shipment.

I sincerely doubt if anyone will see that update until at the earliest next week. And even if they do ship, Apple's policy in the past for new releases is that the shipping company does not deliver before the release date. (Now I am sure that there are some stories about a mistaken early delivery - or perhaps a hefty tip to the UPS or FEDEX driver......)

Was wondering if anyone knows of swap band site for the sports band. I would like to swap just the large side with the holes for medium white. I would somebody would have something set up for the extra bands.

1. Heres my order history with the 42mm SG BSB:

Preordered the watch on Sunday April 12th around 6PM in my local Apple Store because I wanted to try it on and see them in person before I made my decision on which one to pick...(bad choice on my fault) should've ordered day of then canceled my order if I wanted a different one.

2. On May 18th, my order changed from June to June 22-29

3. On the early morning of May 27th, it changed again from June 22-29 to June 16-29.

4. Later in the night of May 28th, I got an email from Apple saying that my watch would ship in 2-3 weeks... That's weird because I thought they send emails when it gets to the preparing stage or ships the day of... Anyone else get this email? In my opinion I see it as a confirmation that our watches are not going to be shipped any earlier...

Thats it but I do think that it's lame how I preordered it and then people can order it today(almost 2 months later) and still get it at the same time as me WTH!!!!

APple needs to pick up there mess because there's a whole lot of it. They keep on worrying about what's next even when they STILL have April 10th (first day) preorder customers that haven't even got their watches yet. I know I said this before... Apple needs to stop worrying about the people in the back of the line because theres people in the front waiting first.

I Also know for a fact that April 12th was the cut off date on weather you get your watch on June 4-8th or June 16-22 for the SG BSB 42mm... I was just unlucky enough to get the 16-22 dates. I know this because their are people that got the same watch as me also on April 12th that ship to the same general area that get their watches next week!!!! Im from Sacaramento California if that helps anything...

Since reading all this stuff on the discussion boards, I'm actually shocked by one thing, that is Apple's silence on all this. Since there is some much concern with folks about getting their watches, it's highly unusual that Apple has not publicly said anything. Everything we know about the slow roll out, is basically obtained from rumor sites about the Tap mechanism being faulty or a shortage of black bands. One of the best ways to sort of calm the waters would be for them to

publicly address where they are and why some are getting their watches and others are not. Or why some orders are taking longer than others. The Space Gray 42mm with BSB seems to be the most popular. Even if someone came out and said, "we're doing the best we can", it would help folks. And when folks hear that the watches will be available in stores in June, they really go nuts. This is indeed the strangest launch of any Apple product even, so maybe the just didn't know what to expect this time out and they are dancing as quickly as they can.
