Apple Watch Shipping Notices

Just curious if anyone has received a shipping notice yet for their Apple Watch If they were lucky enough to get an early delivery date (24th). I know if is probably a bit early but worth asking.

thanks

Laser ship is the worst. I honestly can't stand them. We bought something that they shipped and didn't get it for almost 2 weeks after they claimed it was delivered. They also tend to leave their boxes spread across an entire city block while they sort it. We have had stuff with no problem but when they have problems it is bad.

Good news I've been charged and my status changed! 38mm SS Black sports band NYC.

I ordered 38mm Space Gray at 3:03am ET with estimation of 24-8th and still nothing. Hoping to have something by tomorrow so I can expect my watch to be here Friday by Overnight shipping. It's not looking hopeful though, located in Indiana if that makes a difference? My sister's was prepared for shipment on Monday and hers was ordered at 3:02am ET white 38mm Sport. This is ridiculous

I just finished chatting online with a sales representative. It's not necessarily exactly what time you got your order in. It's all about the specific queues for each model. The way she explained it to me was that even if someone placed their order 30 seconds before you, 2,000 other people could've also placed their orders at the same time so 30 seconds difference could mean you being placed 5123rd in the queue rather than 3221st . As far as availability goes, the watch I ordered, (42mm SS with black sport band) was highly popular, so it was likely to be receiving orders from the second the store went live. All of us are sitting in a queue (according to the apple rep I spoke with) and Apple is working their way down each of those queues for each model and shipping them out. Those of us here are probably just a little lower in said queue than we'd like to be. You can take this or leave it, I'm still just as anxious as I was to begin with.

What you are saying makes total sense. Just because you say you got in at 12:03 there could possibly 5,000 other people who got in between 12:01 and 12:03. So that means you could be say number 3,671 of 5,000 and that is just for that model. At the same times someone who ordered a less popular model could have gotten in at 12:15 and only had 1,000 in line by that point so they are being processed quicker even though they ordered theirs later.

It makes sense even if you were to go to a brick and mortar store. You could show up at opening and get right in line but say you end up being number 20 in line (so your processing time is the same but your queue time is different) but you want the model they only have 5 of and 10 other people in front of you also want that model then people behind you may walk away with their order first before you while you have to wait for what you want.
