Apple Watch Shipping Notices

WE picked a dud. Hoping for next week now.

So........how many people here (like me) ordered the 42mm SS w/Black Sports Band (3:03 EST) and sort of wish they didn't?????

Funny thing is I wanted the black Leather Loop also, but was not sure of the size, so I ordered it with the darn Black Sports Band that seems to be holding up a lot of orders. You would have thought that some genius at Apple would have said to themselves, "DON'T YOU THINK THAT WE SHOULD MAKE A LOT OF THE BLACK BANDS???!!!"

Just a thought - have nothing better to do since my status has been the same for a LONG TIME!!!!

So just because I got up and ordered at 3:02 ET doesnt mean anything? I Couldve ordered another color at 8 am and had just as much luck? Thats bogus!

Did any of you pinkies get that email? I didn't.

Shattered dreams of a Friday delivery.. and I ordered at 3:03 am 😟 still stuck in processing mode... oh well I'm hoping for early next week!

It's so rediculous their whole process and how they are disseminating information. Some reps tell you nothing and others give out information that other reps deny or know nothing about. I'd just rather know it's not coming tomorrow than all this speculation. It's not rocket science...I'm not sure why they are not forthright and cannot make life easier on their customers. I am stuck in Processing Purgatory on a SS 42 mm Black Sports Band which I've seen others also waiting on. In Pennsylvania which is evidently near a delivery hub judging from other posts.

I can't wait until everyone that is flipping out and swearing about Apple screwing up gets their watches tomorrow. We are all excited but ****... people need to calm down a little bit. I could understand if people were ****** off tomorrow but it is still a day before the watch is supposed to arrive. Wait until tomorrow to get all freaked out.

HAHAHA My words that got edited were the same as "darn" and "p*ssed" I thought I was doing good by not swearing.

ALso what really ticks me off is that all is preordered as per Apple instructions, most of us are not getting a watch tomorrow, and then they have the balls to sell units in "select" stores. I have an idea, how about filling the preorders first so we all don't feel like idiots for getting up at 3 AM EST to preorder something we could've walked into a store tomorrow and purchased without having gotten up in the middle of the night and obsessively checked for our orders to progress through the shipping process only to never progress. Poor form, very poor form.

I totally understand your frustration but having worked for another massive company that had just as much of a cult following as apple (Disney and Starbucks) I can tell you sometimes employees like to say stuff when they really have no clue. They've been called a billion times or asked the same question over and over so they just start making things up. It makes their 8 hour day go a little faster and they think it makes the customer happy. Problem is it creates frustration.

I wouldn't loose hope just yet. It is possible they have people working well into late tonight processing orders. Heck some people may have their order on the way now and just don't know it yet because their CC hasn't been processed so the apple system hasn't sent off a shipping notice. I have had stuff delivered and been like oh yeah I forgot I ordered that because I didn't see the charge until after and I never got a shipping notice. It happens.

It is only 2:30 PST, I wonder when we should abandon hope?

Have you tried to check UPS by entering your phone number into the tracking by reference field? I was on apple chat and they wouldnt give any specs on shipping.... I read someone elses post about tracking via ups using your phone number and it worked.... My order on apple still says Preparing for Shipment... UPS gave me a tracking number and say my watch will be here tomorrow before 3:00 PST.

I'm guessing sometime tonight or tomorrow (hopefully sooner rather than later) they'll start on the pink sport models. The apple rep I spoke to wasn't very forthcoming, either.

FFor everyone waiting for their watch, the  watch App Store just went live. It's cool seeing all the apps that are going to be available on the watch. There is about 3000 of them already. Check it out. It helps a bit with the wait for the watch haha.

Thanks for the encouragement Wilkeliza. However, I'm stuck at Processing not even at Preparing for Shipping so I'm screwed.
