Apple Watch Shipping Notices

I'm with you on that! I don't understand for us that ordered within the first 10 mins are pushed off to the side and delayed late May/June. This has never happened with past Apple products for my family and its very sad. Oh well, if we have to wait another 14 days we can cancel our orders if people start talking about issues 🙂

I would appreciate it if Apple would address the issues with certain colors and models. Pink is not a popular color and I have no idea why we aren't getting them tomorrow. I would understand if we ordered a more popular watch but I'm starting to think there is a problem

I've been charged for the Apple Care for the Apple Watch that is still in processing. is this normal?

THat is normal and not indicative of progress on processing.

SKM: I think it's pretty clear that they're filling orders by SKU, not when the order was placed. And, for whatever reason, pink is at the bottom of the list of aluminum watches.

I've ordered a pink aluminum, too, and if I had to guess, I believe it will ship tomorrow or Monday.

Why they chose this way to fill orders is beyond me. It could have to do with adding more SKUs in one product than exist for all other Apple products. But it sort of defeats the purpose of getting up in the middle of the night to place your order, doesn't it?

I would agree. It is frustrating that we are being penalized for the color we ordered not being popular. I realize they gave us a window of delivery and I will be satisfied with getting it next week. It just shows they need to do some revision. Wish I would have known the shipping process, probably would have ordered a different color to start.

I Ordered the 42mm space gray. Email confirmation received at 3:04 EST. My status has said processing since the order until 6:30pm tonight, then changed to shipped with a delivery of 4/24. I had lost all hope of getting it tomorow but it's on its way!

I totally agree! I ordered the pink thinking it would not be a popular color, I am so surprised that we haven't been promoted to at least prepared to ship. I was so feverishly excited at first and now...meh, it's very disappointing. Did you get that email that everyone was getting saying that they are working on the order at least?

I finally got my Shipped email for my 42 SS milanese band watch at 4pm pst. It give me the option to print a pre-sign authorization. I'm in Northern California and my order went through at 12:02.

cnat: No, did not get the now-famous "email of death," which gives me some hope of getting the watch in the next couple of days.

Every other color of aluminum watch is processing, so we should be next. Just an absolutely nonsensical way to fill orders.

Just got off the phone with an Apple representative. (Ordered at 3:03AM EST, 42mm Stainless Steel with the Black Sport Band of Death.)

Good news is that (1) my watch is scheduled to come out of a warehouse in Pennsylvania - not to far from NYC and (2) Apple is shipping all the watches expedited shipping which generally would mean next day for that short a distance.

Bad news is my order is still in Processing **** and he had no clue when in our beloved two week period they will actually be shipping it from PA to NY.

Well hopefully our time is coming! I'm keeping my eyes out for you pink folks for updates. I don't know how much I'm going to hang out here though. once orders start arriving to people, I won't want to read about their playing with the watch and what not. I'm jealous!👿

@stanzeman- did your status change from processing right over to shipped? Or did it say preparing for shipment before you got the shipping notice?
