Just curious if anyone has received a shipping notice yet for their Apple Watch If they were lucky enough to get an early delivery date (24th). I know if is probably a bit early but worth asking.

Yes, I think--in a sense--that's exactly what happened.

I think they decided to do fulfillment by SKU. They started with a batch and moved on to the next batch. If you're paying any attention, it's pretty apparent that's how it's been done. There's no other rational explanation. Or, why would early--:01-- orders for some SKUS just now be being filled, while much later orders for others already have shipped?

Wow! Interesting and entertaining responses. I think people look at this differently based on the depth of their experience with Apple product releases.

A lot of the responders here are like me, experienced release day purchasers. Apple makes a game of it, either having us get up in the middle of the night to press the buy button a second after midnight or standing in line for hours. For the iPad 2, I was the first guy in line. For the 6 plus I got in line at 3AM. For the others, my on-line order got in quick enough to get it on the first day.

We do it because we believe in the products and it’s kind of fun. At least it used to be fun until Apple changed the rules without any explanation whatsoever. That’s the most upsetting and most disrespectful aspect of this situation.

Apple is stonewalling us. What’s going on? Is it the band? Is it the watch? Is it the (SKU?) distribution plan? We are all guessing because Apple is not being honest and telling us. Do like I did. Call the 800 number or try the Chat and listen to the absolute nonsense, non-answers they give you.

Hey Apple, if you’re listening, we are your faithful fans. We deserve more respect than that!

Again, that is ludicrous and would not be the way any shipping center would work. As they get product their people scan it in and out. They really don't care about the SKU and don't look at it. This thread is far from evidence of how things are being shipped. Again, you REALLY believe that in all the distribution centers your Sport with pink band has been sitting there since April 20th and when Apple gets done shipping all of the other Sport watches, of various sizes and band colors, Apple Watch, with various bands and sizes, and Apple Watch Edition, with various size and bands, they will then open the crate with the pink bands and ship them out? Really?

The problem with that is the distribution centers are receiving shipments from China daily. So they are getting new crates of other models and sending those first.

Given all this "evidence" that no pink bands have been shipped, and that people have supposedly cancelled and been sent the uglier lime green SB models, I would guess the problem goes beyond how they are coming in and shipping them. So if they contact you and say there is a problem with the pink band that so far they have not resolved and offer you a different color, a delay or you can cancel, which way are you going?
