Q: Apple Watch Shipping Notices

Just curious if anyone has received a shipping notice yet for their Apple Watch If they were lucky enough to get an early delivery date (24th). I know if is probably a bit early but worth asking.

I got my order on on 4/10 at 12:03 PST - at least that is the time on the email from Apple acknowledging the pre-order. And no, as of this evening my status has not changed from Processing Your Order to Preparing for Shipment.

I sincerely doubt if anyone will see that update until at the earliest next week. And even if they do ship, Apple's policy in the past for new releases is that the shipping company does not deliver before the release date. (Now I am sure that there are some stories about a mistaken early delivery - or perhaps a hefty tip to the UPS or FEDEX driver......)

    Do you know how long it took to go from Preparing for Shipment to Shipped? I am hoping to get mine Monday, but UPS My Choice shows nothing yet

    48 SS BSB ordered 4/10 12:03 conformation email 12:06 stillprocessing. i did get the 38 sport for my wife via UPS yesterday

    That is an oversimplification as many factors are involved. You'll get better information regarding sapphire crystals if you read watch sites.

     

    But I've never had a problem with cracking a watch crystal except one time where it took a direct hit from a gun barrel, my issue has always been with scratching the crystal, hence the option for Sapphire.

    No movement on my 42 SS. I did order an additional band separately a minute or 2 apart and that shows a delivery range of 4/29-5/12 so hoping it's a consolidation issue and my watch and band will arrive Wednesday. On the frustrating bright side, it's not 5/8 yet.

    Mine went to prep to ship last night around 8ish central (I think.. you;d have to go back and look at my post, I did it within minutes) and sometime over the past hour (12:00 PM the next day) it went to shipped with a tracking number. So I'd say it was in prep for about 16 hours and more then likely some of that was because they were closed.

     

    I don't think it'll come on monday but I'm guessing tuesday will be a big wave of deliveries for people.

     

    My order confirmation was 12:03.. just a fyi for people.

    Your email with the tracking number should give an estimated delivery date.

    I ordered the 42mm space gray with a black sport band with confirmation at 3:04am EST with a ship date of 4/24-5/8 and it still has processing

    I guess I am just trying to be positive, especially IF they are still shipping today..Mine went to Preparing for Shipment last night around 11:30pm ET (8:30pm PT) so hopefully it goes out today. I am thinking positive, but this whole pre-order experience has been a let-down lately

    It looks like that almost all 42 mm SS are still processing !!!! SO frustrated with this status !

    MY order just got shipped today be here Monday...I think will see a lot of shipments Monday and Tuesday at least we know there is 42mm SS BSB getting thru processing I know it feels like forever these past couple days but just hang in there and we will be sending Each other's ❤️Beats in no time lmaoimage.jpg

    Update: I just refreshed my page (after refreshing it 1004783403 times this morning) and it says my Apple Watch has shipped. Although the tracking number on UPS shows that they couldn't process my request. It probably was just created and not scanned yet. Hope everyone get's theirs soon!

    Sidebar story: My friend got her Apple Watch on Friday, set it up while on her lunch break. After work she went to a friends and showed it to her. When she got home she was going to watch the guided tours and set up Activity, Workout, etc. She was almost out of battery and was going to charge it while watching on her home computer. We had a big storm yesterday evening, hit at her house and out went her power. No more playing with the Apple Watch.
