Q: Apple Watch Shipping Notices

Just curious if anyone has received a shipping notice yet for their Apple Watch If they were lucky enough to get an early delivery date (24th). I know if is probably a bit early but worth asking.

I got my order on on 4/10 at 12:03 PST - at least that is the time on the email from Apple acknowledging the pre-order. And no, as of this evening my status has not changed from Processing Your Order to Preparing for Shipment.

I sincerely doubt if anyone will see that update until at the earliest next week. And even if they do ship, Apple's policy in the past for new releases is that the shipping company does not deliver before the release date. (Now I am sure that there are some stories about a mistaken early delivery - or perhaps a hefty tip to the UPS or FEDEX driver......)

    @neonsox, I'm not convinced Apple is deliberately engineering free press hype from delivery delays. Apple announced huge quarterly earnings this week largely due to phone sales. Watch sales figures were not part of the fanfare directed at Wall Street. The news reports about the earnings call generally agree that Tim Cook dodged questions about watch sales volume and expressed none of the hype usually communicated with a new phone or laptop device. With respect to the delays in watch delivery, he said: "Right now demand is greater than supply so we are working hard to remedy that," and "I'm generally happy how we're moving on with the ramp."

    I'm from China, but now in Texas. I pre-ordered  Apple Watch with Milanese Band late at 04/10 (est. 05/13-05/27). But till now, the status is still "processing".

     

    Many people in USA are suffering the same problem as mine, but I have to say that I know that most of people in China have already received their watches, even though they ordered their watches later than 04/10. Their watches were successfully delivered on 04/24, which makes me confused: why we are all Apple fans, but we cannot get the product on 04/24 on time.

     

    I use Apple's product since iPhone 2G, and I never missed any product at the release day. But now, I become a person who hopes Tim to pay more attention to the domestic.

    WOO-HOO!  Tracking isn't updated in UPS.com yet but hopefully I'll have it tomorrow.  So happy I decided to cancel my original order and order this one yesterday instead.

    Ordered the 42mm Stainless Steel Milanese at 12:04 PM on 4/10, status updated from a June delivery date to processing with a May 29th - June 11th shipping date on Monday the 27th.  FML!

    My account says shipping and will deliver tomorrow. HOWEVER, my UPS tracking number on the UPS site says, "UPS could not locate the shipment details for your request. Please verify your information and try again later."  .

    I figure UPS will populate location info later, but it has already been over half a day. Does it usually take this long? Apple says it is in UPS' hands now.

     

    Anyone see a delay between getting their "SHIPPED" Apple email to seeing UPS tracking giving info for their watch?

    That just meant UPS hasn't received your info yet, it will update soon.

    ok, but given UPS doesn't have my info yet at 2:52PM PST do they have enough time make the delivery for tomorrow as Apple says it will be?

     

    I'd guess that if UPS is going to deliver the watch tomorrow they would already have updated some info?

    I just got my watch delivered a little while ago and its AWESOME! For all those still waiting pe patient it's worth the wait.

    someone i know is trying to sell me his 42mm SS with the white band i have ordered the one with black band. he is wanting to sell it for 750 i'm thinking about canceling my order and just buying his.

    It's all about when the package is actually scanned in by UPS and how it propagates through their system as to when you can see tracking info on UPS.com.  I'm sure UPS has it "on paper", but until the individual box is scanned in, it won't update.  I'm in the same boat - I have a tracking number as of about 45 minutes ago, but UPS.com isn't recognizing it yet.

    I have a question. My credit card has been charged for my order yesterday AM and I am over excited.

    Usually it means that the watch is available in stock right? The only bad news is that my status is still show Processing Items...
