Q: Apple Watch Shipping Notices

Just curious if anyone has received a shipping notice yet for their Apple Watch If they were lucky enough to get an early delivery date (24th). I know if is probably a bit early but worth asking.

I got my order on on 4/10 at 12:03 PST - at least that is the time on the email from Apple acknowledging the pre-order. And no, as of this evening my status has not changed from Processing Your Order to Preparing for Shipment.

I sincerely doubt if anyone will see that update until at the earliest next week. And even if they do ship, Apple's policy in the past for new releases is that the shipping company does not deliver before the release date. (Now I am sure that there are some stories about a mistaken early delivery - or perhaps a hefty tip to the UPS or FEDEX driver......)

    I was charged for my applecare on 4/12 and then for some reason it dissappeared sometime last week. I ordered the 42 mm SS with black sports band and it still shows that it is processing. Hopefully it will change to preparing for shipment tomorrow.

    I would like to know who at Apple made this statement? Because everyone that I spoke to (I got an email that my order status was updated, when there was no change and called twice, several hours apart) and I don't think that any of the people from customer service have any idea of when stuff will be shipped. Certainly not the kind of knowledge to make this type of statement.

    I just got an email from UPS Choice saying that a package from Apple will be delivered tomorrow. When I check on the Apple Store it still says preparing to ship, not shipped. But UPS sent me a tracking number that looks real. It could be a mistake, UPS does make them. I'll let you know.

    The email had a tracking number (not on the Apple site) that took me to UPS. It's scheduled for between 11:45 and 3:30. I have to leave at 3, so I hope it comes earlier. Unless it is a UPS mistake.

    I wonder if they are doing all the popular orders first and moving on. My order time was 3:18 est on a 42mm SS with classic buckle and my shipping date says 4/24-5/8. My card was charged yet no "Preparring for Shipping". Anyone else with similar issues on the 42mm SS Classic buckle?

    38mm Sports Space Gray, aluminum, black.

    No overnight updates to either apple site or credit card - still shows processing order, and no charges pending.

    12:02am email confirmation of order, so definitely got in early with my order.  This combo was the most popular it seems.

    Not yet and I had my confirmation email at 0801!  Much smaller country though, I suspect tomorrow for the charge, Thursday for the movement, Friday for the delivery.  Though saying that I ordered the iPhone 6 Plus really early and didn't get it until after the weekend.

    I Truly expected some sort of status change  through the night and nothing!  My original order was for 42mm SS with black sport ban. It was placed 04/10 and  excepted at 3:04 AM.  Very confused on the whole process right now. Hoping and praying that I see some sort of status change today.

    Based on the time other people started posting shipping updates it seems to Apple started sending ship notices around 10am PST until around 8pm PST.

    I was hoping by this morning I would've a shipping notice as well. Like many others here I ordered the 42 mm steel with black sports band. My order confirmation was 12:04 AM PDT ...  Still nothing   I think I may call Apple little later this morning and see if they have actually any information about how their shipping on what the shipping because it seems folks who ordered a lot later than us are getting shipping notifications.

    Well......about that Stainless Steel w/Black Sports Band...... I got home from a meeting - and after getting an email about a "updated order status" - checked my account and could not see any change. So I called Apple and found out (1) the email was apparently generated by what they thought was an address change even though it was not and (2) apparently the SS/Black Sports Band was one of the more popular combinations. (At least the nice young lady I spoke to said a lot of the orders she was asked to check on were for that combination.)

    Got up now and the only emails from Apple were for more posts to this thread. Nothing about my shipping (still processing), nothing from either MyUPS or Chase either. Bummer. Sort of resolved myself that it will not be coming this Friday (and I took the day off from work).

    Don't give up hope yet  it's only Tuesday morning and they haven't even opened yet.  If they've moved them all to the local facilities it's easy to ship across the country.   It's hard to believe that Apple couldn't imagine the popular item would be a black sports band. It is also hard to believe that would be the cause of any delays for us.   I guess my real home is that in processing they're dealing with the smaller bulk combination orders first and then moving onto the ones that have  A greater volume to become more efficient. That said, I wish I would have gone with the blue band and just replaced the band down the road...
