Q: Apple Watch Shipping Notices

Just curious if anyone has received a shipping notice yet for their Apple Watch If they were lucky enough to get an early delivery date (24th). I know if is probably a bit early but worth asking.

thanks

The difference could be seconds or even nanoseconds. Unless everyone here wants to call or chat for purposes of comparison here I would use the time that your email arrived as everyone has access to that time.

Hello all. I don't think the email confirmation time has anything to do with this launch mess. my first order was 12:02 and is still in processing (Ss loop 42") and second order email conf 12:10 was delivered April 24  (42" SS BB) go figure...

Your email was 12:02 on the Milanese? It isn't just time of order it is also based upon configuration. I looked at straps before ordering and saw that the Milanese had a longer estimated delivery time. Could have saved $49 ordering it and then buying a BSB but I thought the BSB would ship sooner. What is your delivery range for the loop?

Hi, I have looked at your spreadsheet, how do I enter my info?

42mm SG BSB, Ordered at 9:46pm EST on 4/13, "Processing"...will it ever come?

It's not my spreadsheet. It was put up by someone else on google docs and they made it public so anyone can use it. They put the instructions on how to add your info right near the top. I think it was a wonderful thing for them to do. It's been a huge information source for shipping times.

What is the spreadsheet you were talking about?  How do I access it ?   I ordered 38 mm space gray on 410 at 4:30 AM Eastern time.  My delivery date are between May 21 and June 4 you think there's any chance I'll get it for my birthday on May 15 ?  I have been so excited about this since September and I can't wait to get my watch    I am a little disappointed It is taking so long.

It is inappropriate to accuse me and others here of not being truthful about our order times just because it doesn't fit your theory of what's going on.

I know I pressed the button precisely at 12:02:02 PST. I was hoping to order on the website so I could switch to my new Apple credit to order (3% credit). As a back-up, I started the order on my iPhone. I figured I’d give Apple two minutes to get the web site up and running. When the clock hit 12:02:00 I hit the buy on my iPhone (charged to my AMEX) because the web site was still down.

The reasonable and rational people posting here know we are guessing at what is going on. We have no illusions that we know for sure what Apple is doing. On the other hand, Deggie claims he is not guessing, he’s just “posting facts”. We all have a right to our opinions, but opinions are just opinion, not facts.

Fact: I ordered by Apple Watch at 12:02:00 PST

Fact: I still have not gotten past the Processing stage

Opinion: Apple is not handling this well and owes many of us here an apology

Opinion: It is disrespectful to imply, suggest, or claim that the people posting here are not being truthful when they state their order time.

You are correct that there are one or two rants longer than Deggie's. However, there is no question that he has far more posts and far more words posted here than anyone else.

Hey, I believe you, you may have video showing that you pushed the button at 12:02:02. But that doesn't mean anything. You have an email of your order at 12:07, apparently AMEX was a bit slow with their processing temporary authorizations. Not unusual. You could do like one other poster here that chatted with Apple and they showed his order placement at 3:06 when his email showed 3:07. But you would still be behind mine. So get on there and find out for sure. Until Apple gets a successful response from a request for a temporary authorization there is no order. And 99% of the people, here, those people you say agree with you, are posting the email time of their confirmation, not the time they pushed the button.

Fact: Your order was placed for your Apple Watch at 12:07 PDT. You can call or chat to see if your were slightly earlier.

Fact: You are still in the processing stage

Opinion: Apple is handling this as well as they can. They owe nobody an apology.

Opinion: I don't care if you are truthful or not about when you pushed the button, that is not when the order is placed with Apple. They will not complete the order until they get the authorization from your credit card. Maybe you should go to the AMEX site and ask for an apology from them for their slow processing time.

Or you can remain under the delusion that the time you pushed the button is where you are in line.

Which model did you order again? 42mm SS BSB? You'll like it when you get it.

Nah, I came a bit late here, there were many before me who posted a lot more. They've now moved on apparently since they got their watch. And I've yet to post any rant. Kilted Tim's post was closer to what one might call a rant, but it was short and pretty much spot on.

Why don't you take a break from here and chat with Apple and see what they show your order time to be.

First you suggest that some of us are not being truthful about our times.

Now you are suggesting that I "take a break" and stop posting here.

I'm just responding to your personal attacks on me and others. We all have a right to state our opinion here.

Opinion: It is in appropriate to ask some one to stop posting here just because they disagree with you, especially if that person has not yet received their watch.
