Q: Apple Watch Shipping Notices

Just curious if anyone has received a shipping notice yet for their Apple Watch If they were lucky enough to get an early delivery date (24th). I know if is probably a bit early but worth asking.

thanks

I ordered within the first 10 minutes of the pre-order opening for a 42mm stainless steel and received a shipping range of May 13-27 and is still processing. Funny how if I wanted to put a bullet through it or dunk it in liquid nitrogen or was one of the million celebrities out there, I could've receive it on April 24th or even earlier. Hmmm makes you think. Even many people all around the world have received there orders already before the U.S.  Wow, how many people ordered at 12:01? Anyway, just my 2 cents. Hope eveyone receives theres very soon.

I ordered a SS 38MM black band on 21 April at around 6p.m. and got a delivery date of 20-28 May. Still says processing here.. So if apple says folks could see their orders delivered sooner than expected I guess anytime I might see a "preparing for shipment"

Er, you don't think it might be just a teensy bit elitist to expect/assume that U.S. customers somehow AUGHT to be receiving their Watches prior to "other people around the world"?

Haha funny. No I wasn't sure if the preorder was available everywhere at the same time as the US so my bad on that. The elitist, as you say, would be the YouTube testers, apple watch snipers, etc who can destroy watches left and right .....unless I'm wrong on that too (then the day isn't going well lol).

Ahahaha!! Yeah I was giggling as I read your initial post.   Oh well, nothing like a bit of light relief from checking my Order Status every 10 minutes!!!

I agree... Alllllllll the people that got the Apple Watch to destroy have already gotten them delivered and the people (some) that actually ordered the watch for personal use who wont destroy them are still sitting here waiting stuck in "processing" mode.. I admit im just jealous cause they alreayd got theirs then destroyed it and my order is stuck in "processing"..

I agree that it isn't the greatest representation of "in the order received" shipping (which at this point is a big part of my irritation with how Apple handled this launch) to find out people who are just going to pull the Watch apart, as well as celebrities and "chosen" reviewers, all got their Watches before actual preorders, who had already committed money to the product. The celebrity thing... I don't like it, but being famous has perks. It likely caused a huge spike in sales when Pharrell, Katy Perry and J.J. Abrams were all seen in highly visible ways wearing the Watch: they're all trend setters for the people who want trends as a reason to purchase something. I could never imagine doing something to imitate a celebrity's fashion choices, but I realize there are a lot of other people who do.

As an update to my earlier statement on shipping (ordered 38mm SGS w/ BSB at 12:13am on 4/10, confirmed 12:16am on 4/10, changed to Shipped on 5/3), it's shipping to me on the west coast from a location in Pennsylvania. Its anticipated arrival from UPS is on 5/5 between 10:45am-2:45pm via One Day Super Saver shipping.

For those who are tracking this stuff to try to figure out when they may receive their Watch.

I'm in the same boat as many individuals. I ordered my watch SS 42mm, BSB, at 12:18am MST. I'm in line for delivery date slated between may 13 to may 27. I keep wondering with so many individuals receiving their watches slightly before the actual delivery date,  if I'll receive a notice stating that my watch is (Preparing to ship) sooner rather then later, One can hope. :-)

Well I ordered my watch on 4/10 at 9am for a 42mm SS M Loop.  No change in status yet.  I called and all I was told was that there are so many in demand and they are doing their best to meet the demand. I have an expect delivery date of May 13-27th.

I ordered the Space Black 42mm with the Space Black link band.  Confirmed at 0725/10 EDT.  July shipping.  I just keep looking here to see if anyone has seen any movement at all on the Space Black watches.  I was hopeful for an early delivery after seeing how the first wave was done and after talking to an Apple sales rep who said I should see the watch "significantly sooner" than July, but I'm beginning to think I'm probably in for a long wait.........

Oh, well, it's fun to see what others are getting.........

I Ordered a 42mm SS link bracelet and got confirmation at 8.02am (I'm in UK) and have seen nothing since. Delivery date is 12-26th May but like you was hoping I might see something sooner. Alas not.
