Q: Apple Watch Shipping Notices

Just curious if anyone has received a shipping notice yet for their Apple Watch If they were lucky enough to get an early delivery date (24th). I know if is probably a bit early but worth asking.

I got my order on on 4/10 at 12:03 PST - at least that is the time on the email from Apple acknowledging the pre-order. And no, as of this evening my status has not changed from Processing Your Order to Preparing for Shipment.

I sincerely doubt if anyone will see that update until at the earliest next week. And even if they do ship, Apple's policy in the past for new releases is that the shipping company does not deliver before the release date. (Now I am sure that there are some stories about a mistaken early delivery - or perhaps a hefty tip to the UPS or FEDEX driver......)

    The first "charge" was a temporary authorization to confirm the account.

    I ordered at 12:07am on 4/10

     

    My wife's 38mm SS Milanese was confirmed for a 4/24 delivery (and was in fact delivered on the 24th).

     

    My watch was confirmed for a 5/13-5/27 delivery.

     

    I was charged for both on 4/24 then on 4/27 the charge for my watch was reversed.

     

    The preparing for shipment on my wife's showed up on 4/21, shipment was on 4/23 with overnight delivery.

     

    With that in mind, I'm looking for a delivery no later than 5/13, maybe even sooner depending on where the shipment is coming from (I am in Las Vegas and my wife's shipped from Rialto Calif) and if it is overnight delivery.

    Well...i'm disappointed because alot of you haven't received your watches and you ordered the morning of the tenth. I wanted to try on first and didn't order till i got off work. So my 42mm SS M loop e-mail confirmation wasn't until 8:40pm that night. My status is at May 20- June 11th and it looks like i've got a ways to go. Glad for this forum though...misery loves company...lol

    I think the difference in initial delivery dates on my order was because I ordered the 42mm whereas my wife's is the 38mm. My combo was probably more popular. It appeared that the 38mm shipments went according to schedule.

     

    Actually, mine is on schedule and possibly even early since there is an eight day window to deliver on the original 5/13.

    I'm in Miami & I preorderd the same night as the rest of the world.

    Jerryb, I ordered from Vegas as well. My order was placed at 12:02 by the iPhone App, but the confirmation was not until 12:07. Per UPS, my 42mm SS M loop is arriving today (Departure Scan - Louisville, KY, 05/05/2015 at 3:48 A.M.).

     

    Was the 12:07 your order time or confirmation time?

     

    When I ordered at 12:02, the Website was not yet up (Las Vegas Cox Cable, max speed). If we both got confirmations for the same watch at the same time from the same city, it is curious that you have not received yours yet. It would also be interesting to know whether yours eventually comes via Louisville, or somewhere else.

    Very interesting!  I was on my iMac placing the order through the online store. The store didn't come up until around 12:05-12:07. As soon as it was up I placed my order and got an almost immediate confirmation. I suppose it's possible that being on the phone app earlier resulted in you getting further up the list for delivery. Considering that there were a reported million orders it wouldn't surprise me.

     

    In any case, glad to hear you are getting yours Overnight from Louisville no less.

    well I went to other forum bigger than this one macforum and in a specific topic 42mm sg it looks like its at 00:06:45s they got down to the seconds there idk why ive seen some .07 n .08 but not there sorry just wanted to let u know my research im at .11
