Q: Apple Watch Shipping Notices

Just curious if anyone has received a shipping notice yet for their Apple Watch If they were lucky enough to get an early delivery date (24th). I know if is probably a bit early but worth asking.

I got my order on on 4/10 at 12:03 PST - at least that is the time on the email from Apple acknowledging the pre-order. And no, as of this evening my status has not changed from Processing Your Order to Preparing for Shipment.

I sincerely doubt if anyone will see that update until at the earliest next week. And even if they do ship, Apple's policy in the past for new releases is that the shipping company does not deliver before the release date. (Now I am sure that there are some stories about a mistaken early delivery - or perhaps a hefty tip to the UPS or FEDEX driver......)

    Anyone seen any movement on their SB SS W/SB link band over the weekend yet? The only thing I have seen is Apple Care being charged to my account.

    rar4forum. When was your original ship dates ??  Sorry if you already stated it once before.

    i Ordered 42 SG black band on April 10 at 8:00 pacific time and got a 29 may-11 june delivery date.

    No, I haven't seen any movement.  I'm in the May 13-27th group.  I ordered 3 min in to preorders..  I'm hoping for something tonight.

    Nothing yet on 42mm Space Black SS.  Not even a charge for apple care.  Confirmation email at 3:03ET.  Shipment dates 5/13-5/27.

    Yea I hope they start moving these products out really soon. I wonder if the apple care charge is a good sign that it will be soon. My ship date is June. The website was down for me when I was trying to preorder, didn't get my order in until 01:18 AM. Apparently the app was working flawlessly. I should have used that instead.

    42mm. I think the 42mm in every model is having some production hurdles. Not sure what these hurdles are because of Apple being so quite, but hurdles nonetheless. I've been so tempted to cancel this order and order something else that has a shorter shipping window. I just can't bring myself to do it. The SB watch is by far the best looking watch they have in my opinion.

    ok so mine just shipped...but ups shows no info yet...just label created....they charged me yesterday and it was in preparing for shipment since 4PM last night and juts now about 30 min shows shipped...i ordered a 42 mm space grey on april 10 at 03:08:09sec

    I ordered both 42mm & 38mm Sport Space Gray at 12:03PDT, on April 10th. I received both on May 7th. My intial ship date was May 13th. The screen is why I ordered the Sport Edition. it is far more responsive and it is far more scratch proof. All of my Sapphire crystal watches scratched easily. As for any production problems with the 42mm any Apple Watch were corrected and by MARCH the watches were rolling off the line. This is a made to order device and it is as simple as that. Even when they hit the stores they will be very limited to what they carry. The suggestion was made to sell the base watch, at the store, seperatly from the band and then the customer picks out the band. This may still happen, but that is only iMORE rummor.

     

    I was really shocked at all the watches on Ebay selling for $800.00 to $1000.00 for the sport space gray. It really upset me for obvious reasons. Folks ordered two and then sold the second on Ebay for double what they paid. Those watches they are selling could be on wrists of so many other people that ordered honestly instead of trying to profit from folks that have a June or later deliver date.

     

    The watches I received are really nice and worth it. I own both an LG g and a Moto 360 and comparing the Apple Watch to those is like comparing an Apple to a rock...

     

    IT is well worth the wait and please don't waste your money on a Apple Watch from ebay. It only adds fuel to the fire.

    I'm from Paris, I ordered a space grey 42mm on April 10 and I'm in the group of 12/5-26/5

    I haven't been charged yet!!!

    My order is still on processing

    The eBay posts made me angry as well.  I too hope no one buys them  Perhaps Apple should have limited sales to one watch...might have resulted in more timely deliveries.

    Has anyone who got the original delivery window of 24/5 to 8/5 still not got their watch? Just curious to see how far Apple are behind, if at all.
