Q: Apple Watch Shipping Notices

Just curious if anyone has received a shipping notice yet for their Apple Watch If they were lucky enough to get an early delivery date (24th). I know if is probably a bit early but worth asking.

I got my order on on 4/10 at 12:03 PST - at least that is the time on the email from Apple acknowledging the pre-order. And no, as of this evening my status has not changed from Processing Your Order to Preparing for Shipment.

I sincerely doubt if anyone will see that update until at the earliest next week. And even if they do ship, Apple's policy in the past for new releases is that the shipping company does not deliver before the release date. (Now I am sure that there are some stories about a mistaken early delivery - or perhaps a hefty tip to the UPS or FEDEX driver......)

    I don't need your rude and sarcastic comments. And furthermore they are behind because I know some that still have not received their watch with an earlier shipment date!!!!

    Personally, I'd rather have them concentrating on getting my order out. At this point there is no reason to update me, as it looks like they will deliver within their original estimate.

    Apple is taking the Michael, i have an shipping date from the 12th May 2015 to the 26th May 2015 and to date i haven't heard a thing. I’ve been waiting patiently, checking my emails to no avail… If Apple are having problems then instead of staying silent, step up and say something!!!

    p.s. failing that a goodwill gesture of maybe a free strap instead will do…

    What gives KiltedTim? I have seen you reply in this manor several times on this forum. They are behind, they knew they were going to be behind from the get go. Hence the reason why they were trying to control stock by making the sales "exclusively" online. I used quotations for exclusively because they gave some models to fancy retail locations. In stead of Apple catering to their fan base, they catered to the upper class and I can assure you that the lower classes far exceed the upper class. April 24th was the advertised date of availability. Although that doesn't guarantee a day one delivery, it still shouldn't warrant a silenced action on their part. I'm sure if the customers were told that the availability of the watches were going to be so scarce that 2 minutes into preorder they would have to wait 2 months, they wouldn't be so upset. The fact of the matter is that there was no announcement of this nature...well, that is until after they tried to preorder. So, yes you're right about them not being behind on what they promised for the delivery windows at preorder, but they are behind in the grand scheme of things.

    I ordered mine April 30th. I got the 42mm Space Grey Black Sport Band. Still says June.......

    I am stuck what I like to call "Processing Purgatory"

    I ordered the Space Black mit Link Bracelet in Space Black on April 10th at 09:08 am.......with delivery in June . Until today, there´s no change.......still Delivery in: June. Oh my dear.......what´s wrong with Apple??

    I never had to wait for such a long time to receive any Apple Device.

    Is there someone to order the Space Black?

    I'm in the same boat, I'm pretty sure no one in the world has seen this device. I have searched everywhere on the internet for a review or unboxing and have had no luck. It's almost as if it doesn't exist.

    Somebody asked my wife what she liked best about her Apple Watch that she received on April 24th.  She replied with, "that I have one and my husband doesn't yet".  Now that's just not right! "Processing Items....."

    Hi guys! I ordered an apple watch on April 10 3:01am EST: 42mm Stainless Steel with Link Bracelet

    and believe it or not: The order (iphone app) just changed to "Prepare for Shipment". Unbelieveable!

     

    Maybe it was real coincidence but 15mins ago I was "complaining" via apple support chat about my order :-)

    That would be the ONLY report I've seen anywhere yet of someone no receiving their watch within or before the promised shipping window. Please provide details. There have been no other reports of that here, or anywhere else that I've seen.

     

    As for being rude and sarcastic. No. Sorry. I'm being realistic. You are being unreasonable. Stop whining.

    What do you mean what's wrong with Apple? What's wrong with YOU? You were given a delivery estimate of June. Why are you whining that you don't have it yet when it's still May?
