Q: Apple Watch Shipping Notices

Just curious if anyone has received a shipping notice yet for their Apple Watch If they were lucky enough to get an early delivery date (24th). I know if is probably a bit early but worth asking.

I got my order on on 4/10 at 12:03 PST - at least that is the time on the email from Apple acknowledging the pre-order. And no, as of this evening my status has not changed from Processing Your Order to Preparing for Shipment.

I sincerely doubt if anyone will see that update until at the earliest next week. And even if they do ship, Apple's policy in the past for new releases is that the shipping company does not deliver before the release date. (Now I am sure that there are some stories about a mistaken early delivery - or perhaps a hefty tip to the UPS or FEDEX driver......)

    I think his disappointment is more about the overall behavior of Apple in their rollout of the Apple Watch.  It is a sign of things going very wrong within the company.

     

    I was personally astonished to find that several days after launch, they didn't have them in the Apple Store.  I figured I could just pick one up at Best Buy after the release date, just like how I got my iPad on the first day it was released.  Now to hear that people are waiting more than a month sounds absurd.

     

    I ordered two weeks ago, and it seems like a crazy long time.  This isn't some startup company that didn't know how to launch a product.

    I think in hindsight, allowing folks to try on the watches in the store after they had already ordered was crazy. Unfortunately none of the posted watch wrist measures could compare to actually seeing the actual watch on your wrist. I'd probably have my watch by now, but after ordering the 38mm Space gray

    and April 10th, i cancelled it and ordered the 42 after trying it on, thus moving me back in the delivery cue.

    Nobody has given Apple credit for the fact that they upgraded every order to overnight shipping. When I placed my order standard shipping was included, but so far, everyone has gotten their order overnight. To my knowledge not a single delivery window has not been met. But people are still blaming Apple for a poor roll out.

     

    You should have tried to buy a MINI Cooper in 2003 when they launched. Wait time was three months.

    what time did you order?  I ordered the exact at 2:02 4/10 with confirmation email @ 2:05AM (CST)

    Still in Processing stage  -  Delivery 5/13-5/27

    I agree.  Still waiting, but patience is a virtue.  Ordered a 42mm SS SSLB.  I am very excited and am looking forward to getting it!!

    I had hope after yesterday's PFS updates, especially from LB, MB, and LL users. Today was a slow day it seems. Maybe tomorrow!

    Me too.  However there are a few more flights headed to Louisville and Ontari. Don't give up hope!

    I have not seen any movement on my SB watch. I ordered at 03 am MST and my confirmation came through at 04 am MST. I have been checking.
