Q: Apple Watch Shipping Notices

Just curious if anyone has received a shipping notice yet for their Apple Watch If they were lucky enough to get an early delivery date (24th). I know if is probably a bit early but worth asking.

I got my order on on 4/10 at 12:03 PST - at least that is the time on the email from Apple acknowledging the pre-order. And no, as of this evening my status has not changed from Processing Your Order to Preparing for Shipment.

I sincerely doubt if anyone will see that update until at the earliest next week. And even if they do ship, Apple's policy in the past for new releases is that the shipping company does not deliver before the release date. (Now I am sure that there are some stories about a mistaken early delivery - or perhaps a hefty tip to the UPS or FEDEX driver......)

    That's what I don't get... it seems like its in order of when orders were placed on a lot but not on either of mine

    I ordered 2 watches

    1. 42mm SB SS SBLB @ xx:02 confirmation email @ xx:04 --- still in processing phase

    2. 42mm SG BSB @ 7pm on 4/10 with delivery window of May 29 - June 11 and I received that last Thursday 5/14

     

    Not sure what to do - worst part is the SG BSB was a gift so I didn't even get to try it

    I Think it has to do with time ordered and the region of the country your in.

    I have a 3 way race right now. I have all 42mm watches ordered. 1 is the SG and 2 are the SS

     

    One with Milanese loop, one with black sport band and the SG is also with a black sports band.

    That could make sense.  1 of the last 3 iphones I preordered came from China - others from Dallas

    My ipad air 2 preorder came from Dallas

    I live in Houston...

    I think that (and its smart) Apple is shipping these products to hubs in the region for shipment and once it gets there they initiated the "shipping process" and that's also how they are able to do next day shipping is because its already in the next day zone for the carrier.

     

    Anyone in the central or eastern time zone/ region get there LB (SS or SB) yet? or just west coast

    Alex what time did you order ??  I ordered same watch and have same ship window.  I ordered mine 8 hours into ordering process so 8:00 in the morning PST.

    nothing, you can tell when things have slowed down cause the "black Market" watches are also in short supply. I'm still waiting for my Mar 29 - Jun 13 delivery. of course, it's she 42 mm Sports Gray with the black band.  ugh.  I ordered at 5pm on April 10th.

    good am glad some ome things the same as me if people looked at the prices on ebay you can get two on store stupid people mine is coming the 25 th June and can not wait to wear it

    I ordered SG BSB at xx:10 and i have got a ship date of 5/29 - 6/11 and I see others that ordered after me get earlier ship dates and some have recieved theirs already. Its not fair... I feel like a kid who didnt get what he wanted for christmas and everone else did. Still processing... At what point does the status change?  I would like to know so I can quit checking 5 times a day.

    Trav I ordered same exact as you with same ship window, but 10 hours later.  Not sure why but as I have looked back I realized that I have been stating that I ordered at 8:00 pst ( not sure why I kept thinking that)

    Yeah TC says that the watch will be available in stores in June. You would think at the very least the people that preordered watches would get them before you could go in Apple Store and pick one up. I'll bet not.

    this would be the greatest outrage of all, people actually being able to buy watches in the stores before folks who pre-ordered them.
