Q: Apple Watch Shipping Notices

Just curious if anyone has received a shipping notice yet for their Apple Watch If they were lucky enough to get an early delivery date (24th). I know if is probably a bit early but worth asking.

I got my order on on 4/10 at 12:03 PST - at least that is the time on the email from Apple acknowledging the pre-order. And no, as of this evening my status has not changed from Processing Your Order to Preparing for Shipment.

I sincerely doubt if anyone will see that update until at the earliest next week. And even if they do ship, Apple's policy in the past for new releases is that the shipping company does not deliver before the release date. (Now I am sure that there are some stories about a mistaken early delivery - or perhaps a hefty tip to the UPS or FEDEX driver......)

    It isn't a holiday in China where the watches are shipped, so that probably isn't an issue. Given the order back log, one would hope they are working 24/7 to get the watches manufactured and shipped. My order for 42mm Space Gray, Aluminum Case, Black Sport Band (apparently the most popular model) was placed 01:30 PST 4/10/15. Delivery window is 5/29–6/11. Hasn't changed in six weeks. Doesn't look like they have shipped very many watches so far. Hopefully that will change soon! Patience is a virtue, so we are all just going to have to wait, and be patient.

    Having received my stainless steel WATCH, I know the delivery window from xxxx to xxxx never changes until it is shipped! Don't pay attention to the delivery window: that's the time table from when the order was placed.

    Per previous post, arrived a month earlier than it said it would. 4 hours into the day and down to 60%, but I'm messing with it a LOT!

    It doesn't feel big to me, I do have skinny wrists though!

    Yes, 42MM. It doesn't feel heavy or bulky and the leather loop band is pretty comfy.

    I have a very small wrist.. I tried the 42MM on and it was actually wider than my wrist.. Bahahha.. So I went with the 38MM and ordered the modern buckle.. Hooray for a super long wait time..

    anyone who ordered the 42mm Space Gray with black band in the May 29 - June 11 deliver dates have their watch yet? just curious. Or have you been

    Update: That awesome 42mm SS Watch that arrived yesterday has a problem with the Maps application. The Watch only shows grid lines. It doesn't display map graphic data. The brand new watch is also unable to attach a credit card to the Apple Pay function.

     

    After spending 45 minutes on the phone with Apple Support, and restoring the Watch from a back up two times, it still isn't working. I now have a Genius Bar (genius - right) appointment tomorrow at my local store to try and fix the problem. What a complete let down. 24 hours after I received it (waited six weeks), I have to go to the store and have them try and fix it. I'm a big Apple fan, but this is extremely disappointing. I feel like I'm part of a beta test program and nobody told me.

    Apple Pay didn't work for me either. I kept getting the message that the Watch wasn't connected to my iPhone 6 although it was. Solution for me: I turned off my iPhone and restarted it. Many of the other apps visible in the Apple Watch app then went from gray to full color and Apple Pay worked.

     

    Try restarting your iPhone.

    I read online earlier this week that there is a but with apple pay auto connecting to your phone...

     

    apparently you have to set up apple pay again within the apple watch app on the iPhone in order to get it to work... it doesn't draw from what you have

    Did anyone order a SG BSB 42MM on or around 4/20 if so what is your estimated shipping date? Thats the day it was ordered I'm on apple email list to be notified when it is shipped but I can't see the actual order because the watch is a gift and i can't get the order number.
