Q: Apple Watch Shipping Notices

Just curious if anyone has received a shipping notice yet for their Apple Watch If they were lucky enough to get an early delivery date (24th). I know if is probably a bit early but worth asking.

I got my order on on 4/10 at 12:03 PST - at least that is the time on the email from Apple acknowledging the pre-order. And no, as of this evening my status has not changed from Processing Your Order to Preparing for Shipment.

I sincerely doubt if anyone will see that update until at the earliest next week. And even if they do ship, Apple's policy in the past for new releases is that the shipping company does not deliver before the release date. (Now I am sure that there are some stories about a mistaken early delivery - or perhaps a hefty tip to the UPS or FEDEX driver......)

    Now that Apple is finally shipping units after the recall, I bet they'll be caught up by the end of the week. My 42mm SG BSB still says June 16, but I'm willing to bet it'll be shipped by the end of the week.

    Apple never did a recall. The 2,000 or so units that had the haptic issue were never shipped and were discovered in February.

    My bad. A buddy of mine who works for Apple must have been mistaken. Only 2000 units were affected?

    MY SS/ Malinese Band that was shipped yesterday and scheduled to be delivered Wed. 6/3 was just moved up to 6/2. Just two days short of six weeks the wait is almost over.

    Anyone else stuck with the same UPS status as below:

    Louisville, KY, United States05/31/201510:28 A.M.Your package will be held at a warehouse until it is released by the clearance agency.

    Does this mean I won't receive my watch as per original delivery date of 06/01(tomorrow)?

    I have the same message. It's normal. We'll still get our new watches tomorrow.

    There's also a message on that UPS screen saying the next update will be Monday.  It's hard to see it if you are not looking for it.  It's just that they are not updating during the weekend.

    I see a departure scan from Louisville,KY. Guess everything is on track so far . I believe the watch is coming via flight UPS 950 from SDF -> OAK.

    Ordered a 42MM SS with black classic buckle on April 16.  Original delivery date was June, then June 22-29, then June 16-22.  I got notified the watch was getting ready for shipment on May 28, credit card charged.  It shipped from China on the 29th and will be delivered Monday June 1st.

    here's the funny thing, my watch will arrive tomorrow and just like with any of the Apple stuff, i kinda just look at the packaging before I even open it up.

    it's something about having it without opening it that is  a great moment.

    What's odd is I received an email from UPS at 3:38am this morning reiterating the original delivery date of tomorrow. The site, as you've noticed, does not have and delivery info after it showed "destination scan" in Ontario, CA. Before that, it always had Monday as he delivery date. It's probably all normal for them, but odd nonetheless. I'm sure we'll still receive our watches tomorrow.

    got an email from apple early this morning saying that my package shipped. on my order is still says june 15-19th or something like that. It gave me a UPS tracking number but its not showing up on UPS yet since it's the weekend. Im located in northern california.  Will it really take over 2 weeks to get here???

    I doubt it will take 2 weeks to get to Northern California.  My order delivery date kept bouncing around, the most recent one was June 4-8.  Friday they charged my bank account and texted me Saturday that it was shipped.  I got the text when I was just about to lose cell and internet for a weekend trip up in the Sierras, so I couldn't track it.  I figured that Wednesday would be about right and I was delighted.  Today I get back to civilization and discover that they shipped UPS and UPS has it scheduled for early delivery -  tomorrow (Monday).  Only problem with that is that I was going to use the watch as an excuse to take a day off from work, but I have 2 appointments tomorrow and one of them took 6 weeks to get, so I can't take it off!  And that's to the back-woods of Southern California (UPS said it had already cleared customs and departed Louisville, KY).

     

    I think I'll take off right after the second appointment, it should get me home a couple of hours early.  But with my luck so far, UPS won't deliver until 7:45pm - they do that fairly often.
