Q: Apple Watch Shipping Notices

Just curious if anyone has received a shipping notice yet for their Apple Watch If they were lucky enough to get an early delivery date (24th). I know if is probably a bit early but worth asking.

I got my order on on 4/10 at 12:03 PST - at least that is the time on the email from Apple acknowledging the pre-order. And no, as of this evening my status has not changed from Processing Your Order to Preparing for Shipment.

I sincerely doubt if anyone will see that update until at the earliest next week. And even if they do ship, Apple's policy in the past for new releases is that the shipping company does not deliver before the release date. (Now I am sure that there are some stories about a mistaken early delivery - or perhaps a hefty tip to the UPS or FEDEX driver......)

    I just got an email from Apple letting me know the watch will ship in 9-11 Business Days. It's a pretty new order, but I didn't get an email when the date was bumped up for the first time last Friday. Did anyone else get emails from Apple when updates happened? If not, that makes me think this may be where my ship date finally lands.

    Yes... Once it goes PFS, any shipping window (even the one showing on your order status) is totally irrelevant!

    Mine said the same thing right until it said it would be here tomorrow!

    I just got the email from apple letting me know that my order will be ship within the next 7-10 business days.

     

    It doesn't make much sense for them to send an email out, that is just telling you the same exact thing the website shows.

    Yea i also got an email stating what the website says. Thats apples protocol. You gotta think, not everyone hounds their order status every day like we are right now loL.

     

    they are just letting us know what we already knew. And for those who dont look at it every second (haha, i am 100%) guilty of that, that is their notification of a date bump up.

    I ordered my 42 mm stainless steel watch with link bracelet on May 7th. Today it was updated with a status of "available to ship 7 to 10 days".  Can't wait!  Shipping to me in Chicago by standard.

    I know there's a lot of different styles of the watch, but it really drives me nuts reading that people are placing orders now are getting shipping notices and I placed my order on April 10 and still am looking at a July 6th thru the 15th estimate.  Ordered the 42 SB watch with the SBLB.

    I Been bouncing around other forums and seeing order dates vs shipping/recieving dates.

     

    it looks like those who ordered around the 25th of april have either been charged and shipped or already have theirs.

     

    Hopefully the April 30th people or close to that day like me start getting charged tomorrow and deliveries start going out!

    Apple Watch Sport 42mm Space Gray Aluminum Case with Black Sport Band

    Ordered April 26

     

    Received an e-mail today with the subject "Your Apple Watch Sport Order" around 1830 CST stating that my watch would ship in the next 7-10 business days.  I also noticed that my card was charged today also.

     

    Hopefully this means it shipped today and they just need to update their system.  But if not I am still one step closer.

    Im in the same boat. I'm losing hope that the date will be moved up and I'll get it in time for my wedding (June 26)

    With Apple, you just never know. When I ordered our watches last Wednesday, mine said 4-5 weeks and my wife's said 2-3 weeks. They shipped my wife's 2 days later and now mine says 2-3 weeks. I expect that they'll be caught up by the end of next week.

    Well after sitting in Anchorage for a day and a half it went to Louisville, Indianapolis and is on the truck for delivery today. The wait is almost over.

    I ordered a 38mm blue sport watch on May 21st and recieved it 6 days later. I love it, and feel very fortunate to have received it so quickly. However, my boyfriend ordered a Stainless Steel Black Leather Loop on the same day and still has a shipping estimate of the end of June. We ordered online, and are near Manchester, UK for reference. Has anyone else ordered the black leather loop and got any shipping estimates to compare?
