Q: Apple Watch Shipping Notices

Just curious if anyone has received a shipping notice yet for their Apple Watch If they were lucky enough to get an early delivery date (24th). I know if is probably a bit early but worth asking.

I got my order on on 4/10 at 12:03 PST - at least that is the time on the email from Apple acknowledging the pre-order. And no, as of this evening my status has not changed from Processing Your Order to Preparing for Shipment.

I sincerely doubt if anyone will see that update until at the earliest next week. And even if they do ship, Apple's policy in the past for new releases is that the shipping company does not deliver before the release date. (Now I am sure that there are some stories about a mistaken early delivery - or perhaps a hefty tip to the UPS or FEDEX driver......)

    Nice! It may ship tomorrow and be there by Friday or Monday. It seems to stay in PTS for 12-18 hours. What type did you get?

    Ordered my 42 sg bsb on April 29th. Just switched to preparing to ship within the last few hours. Hoping to get it by Friday!

    Tell me about it!  I ordered mine 38mm SBS BSB on June 1.  LOL.  It was shipped out yesterday.  Was soooo excited.  Then UPS came into it and messed it all up.  Now, because of mechanical failure, the watch sits at the UPS hub in Atlanta and delivery date is unknown.  Go figure... Karma is REALZ y'all!  LOL

    HI All,

     

    my card was just charged on 6/2 late last night.  How long from the time my card is charged until it ships?  My delivery date has not changed and I am anxiously waiting for my SGS BSB Apple watch.

    If it was charged last night, then watch for the status to change to preparing for shipping.  once that kicks in, whatever it says on the page for estimated ship dates doesn't matter.  More than likely it will ship out today and you'll have it by tomorrow.  My card was charged fully tuesday night.  Status on page changed to preparing for shipping yesterday on or about 6am.  then last night it changed to shipped w a tracking # on or about 630.  Course, then UPS mucked it all up, but that's okay

    Awesome!  Thanks for the info.  I was not originally excited about the watch but after seeing the reviews online and playing with it al the Apple Store I was sold.  This wait is killing me   .

    I feel like Eric Cartman waiting for the Wii to come out. Maybe they can freeze my body and thaw me out after the UPS guy gets to my house? It beats staring out the window in my office wondering where my watch is.

    I am happy for all those recieving their watches.... But it is upsetting when you call Apple and tell them that others who ordered after you are receiving their watches before you.   Then they argue with you!!!!  It really wears at my product loyalty.  I ordered my SG BSB on May 6th 2015 and I hate that I am still waiting while it is "processing", when someone orders one last Tuesday and already has a tracking number.

    The people who ordered last Tuesday most likely ordered 38mm models. I'm assuming you ordered a 42mm model. Remember, the 42mm models had the jacked up haptic motors when the 38mm models did not. That's why the 38's ship in a couple of days and you and I are waiting weeks for our 42mm models. Well, except for the one person that said they ordered the sport with the green band and received a tracking number, which could be an anomaly.

    Received and email today from Apple about my watch telling me they're sorry for the delay and that some watches will soon be available in the Apple stores but they assured me that the model I ordered would not until all pre orders are shipped.

    I saw on Reddit that people who ordered the 42mm Space Black Stainless Steel with Space Black LInk Bracelet got this message. At least you'll get it before it goes on sale in the store.

     

    Also that means anyone who ordered in May (42 SBSS w/ SBLB aside) will get theirs in the next 2 weeks, before they go on sale in the store.

    I got the same email...  Ordered the 42mm Space Black Stainless Steel with Space Black Link Bracelet on April 27th
